Trip Itinerary

Day1.Arrive at lhasa by flight or Train(elevation is 3650Meters)
Our tour guide and drive will meet you at Airport or Train station on the time once you arrive and welcome greet you to Tibet and transfer you to your pre-booked or agency booked hotel in Tibetan capital city of Lhasa,The 60km trip from the airport in Gonggar county takes around an hour using the recently built Airport expressway while 25km drive from the railway station across the Lhasa river takes around 30 minutes.At your hotel you can check in and guide will help you get checked in,for the rest of the day you will have rest and take it easy to allow your body to acclimatize to high altitude of Lhasa.

Day2.Lhasa city sightseeing tour
As today is the first day full day on the high altitude plateau you may feel a little headache or nausea from the symptoms of altitude sickness.this common for travelers to Tibet and normally subsides after a day or two of rest and hydration as the bod adjusts.
The second full day in Lhasa start Morning visit to Drepung monastery and afternoon to Sera monastery which used to be two largest monastery in the Tibet Buddhist monastery,
Drepung monastery was built in the 1416 or 15th century by Ji Tsongkhapa’s disciple Jamyang Qoigyi Tashi Palden and situated at the foot of the mountain Gambo Utse,which is one of the Greatest three Gelugpa monasteries of Tibet and used to be the largest monastery in the world housing more than 10000 monks and lamas.The original residence of the Dalai Lama before the construction of the potala palace.Drepung monastery has been damaged several times over the years but narrow twisting lanes between the monastic residences are still a thrilling place to explore.
After the tour finish of Drepung we will go to have a lunch and then
Afternoon visit to Sera Monastery,located a few kilometers to north of old Lhasa city.
Sera monastery was built in the 1419 or 15th century by a disciple of Ji Tsongkhapa called Jamchen choji Sakya yeshi,the monastery holds a number of different monastic college with several hundreds monks from across Tibet in residence.the best attraction of the monastery for tourist is the famous philosophical and theological debates of the monks which happens in the debating courtyard every afternoon except Sunday,

Day3. Lhasa city sightseeing tour
Morning visit to Potala palace and Afternoon visit to Jokhang Temple with Barkhor street,
Potala palace was first constructed in the 7th century by the famous Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo on the Red hill,the modern palace original fortress building were built in the 17th century by great 5th Dalai Lama after that the new residence winter palace and seat government of the Dalai Lamas.Palace is divided into two palace Red palace and White palace,
Red palace is mainly for spiritual central and White palace is mainly for government central.
Jokhang Temple is sacred and most holy temple in Tibet,Jokhang has been a major pilgrimage destination for over thousand years and is always busy with pilgrims.after touring the inside of the temple you will walk to second floor for pictures the walk around Barkhor street the clock wise kora around the temple with local Tibetan pilgrimages ,

Day4.Lhasa Transfer to Lhasa Airport or Lhasa Train station
