Trip Itinerary

Day 01. Flight or Train to Lhasa,
When you arrive in Lhasa either by Train or Flight, Your guide will greet you welcome to Tibet and Transfer you to your pre-booked hotel or agency book hotel. Drive along with the valley view of the Yarlung Tsangpo river(Indian called Bhamaputra river)the longest and largest river in Tibet and Lhasa river on the way to Lhasa city.
After arrival in Lhasa city to your hotel and you, will check-in and your guide will help you to get checked in, you can take a rest and get acclimatized to high altitude. if you feel to go out, then you can go to the Potala square and Barkhor square, where you will enjoy the fountain with different colors and get amazing photos of the Potala and pilgrimage peoples around,

Day 02. Lhasa city sightseeing tour: Morning visit to Drepung monastery and Afternoon visit to Sera monastery,
Drepung monastery was built in the 1416/15th century by a disciple of Ji Tsongkhapa called Jamyang Chogyi Tashi Palden and situated at the foot of the mountain Gambo Utse, which is one of the three greatest Gelugpa monasteries in Tibet and used to be the largest monastery in world housing more than 10000 monks and Lamas. The original residence of the Dalai lamas before reconstruction of the Potala Palace. Drepung monastery has been damaged several times over the years but narrow twisting lanes between the monastic residences are still a thrilling place to explore,
Sera monastery was built in 1419/15 century by a disciple of Ji Tsongkhapa called Jamchen Choji Sakya Yeshi, The monastery holds a number of different monastic colleges with several hundreds of monks from across Tibet in residence. the best attraction of the monastery for tourists is the famous philosophical and theological debates by the monks which happens in the debating courtyard. every afternoon except Sunday.

Day 03. Lhasa city sightseeing tour: Morning visit to Potala palace and Afternoon visit to Jokhang Temple with Barkhor street,
Potala Palace was first built by the greatest Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century on Red hill, the modern palace original fortress building was reconstructed in the 17th century by the famous 5th Dalai Lama after that it has become the new residence winter palace and seat government of the Dalai lamas. Palace is divided into two different palaces. called Red palace and white palace,
The red palace is mainly used for the religious center and the White Palace is mainly used for government central,
Jokhang Temple is the sacred and holiest temple in Tibet. which was founded by 33rd great king Songtsen Gampo of Tibet in the 7th century, Inside you can see the main image of Sakyamuni at the age of twelve, Jokhang has been a major pilgrimage destination for over a thousand years and is always busy with pilgrims walking around and prostrating in front of the temple.

Day 04. Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse,270km approx 7 to 8 hours driving Via on the way Gampo-la pass 4790m, you will have a glimpse of Yamdruk Yumtso lake 4400m. The lake is surrounded by many snow-capped mountains and in the far distance, you can have a beautiful view of the Mount. Nyenchen khangser 7198m,
Later we will pass on Karo-la 5039m and Karo-la Glacier in front of the Mount.NyenchenKhangser, Today last pass Simi-la 4430m then we will continue to drive to Gyantse town, historically third largest city in Tibet after Lhasa and Shigatse,(altitude of Gyantse is 3990m)Gyantse hotel or Yeti hotel

Day 05. Drive from Gyantse to Shigatse,90km approx one and half hour, Altitude of Shigatse is 3860m.Manasarovar hotel/ Sakya palace hotel
First-morning visiting Pelchuk monastery and Kumbum stupa, after finish the monastery walk to the old Tibetan style town area and drive to Shigatse for one and half hours, Which is the second-largest city in Tibet and main biggest city in Tsang region, On the way, enjoy the landscape of Barley field in the summertime, noon will arrive in Shigatse, So first Check in hotel and then have a lunch, Afternoon visiting Tashilhunpo monastery,
Tashilhunpo monastery was built in 1447 by the first Dalai Lama(Gunden Dropa )The monastery’s structure was expanded by the fourth and successive Panchen Lamas. One of the six big monasteries of the Gelugpa or Yellow Hat sect in Tibet,
This monastery is the seat of the Panchen lamas since the Fourth Panchen Lama took charge in the Tashilhunpo monastery. Now there are nearly 800 monks and lamas,
The main image statue found here is Maitreya Buddha(Future Buddha)built by the 9th Panchen Lama in 1914, this is the biggest gilded made statue in the world a sitting inside them cheaply. the statue stands 26.2 meters( 86ft )high and 16.8 meters wide in length, is decorated with gold, copper, pearl, amber, coral, diamond, and other precious stones. the statue was handcrafted by 900 craftsmen built in 9 years.
The Tomb stupa of the past incarnation of Panchen Lamas,4th 10th and 5th to 9th Panchen Lamas and Tomb stupa of the first Dalai Lama, founder of the monastery,
The fourth Panchen Lama is one of the famous lamas in Tibetan history. He was also the teacher of the fifth Dalai Lama.
The main Assembly hall is the place for lamas and monks to chant sutras, Inside of Assembly hall we can visit the two small chapels. The statue of Sakyamuni 5meter high(16 ft )chapel, it is said that a part of Sakyamuni’s relics was placed in it.
The Tara’s chapel, the goddess who is believed to be the avatar of Avalokitesvara. A white Tara is in the middle and two green Tara are on each side.
The largest courtyard of the monastery is the place for lamas to practice and debate. the wall around the courtyard is covered by thousands of images of the Sakyamuni in different postures and expressions ways. here you will finish visiting the monastery, rest of the afternoon free excursion explore old Tibetan bazaar/ Market or Kora, optional

Day 06. Drive from Shigatse to Shager/New Tingri,240km approx 5 to 6 hours driving, Altitude of New Tingri is 4160m.
We’ll leave Shigatse after Breakfast, drive to that town. before we will pass Tso-la pass 4500meters above sea level then to lhatse town where you can have lunch. After that, we will continue to drive ascend to Top of the mountain pass Gyatso-la pass 5248 meters.in here you will enter the Qomolangma National Nature Reserve, The we drive descend along the Zig-Zag road to Shager and you can see the first view of Mt.Everest and Himalaya mountains on the way,

Day 07. Drive from Shager/ New Tingri to Rongbuk Monastery/Everest,110km approx 4 to 5 hours, Altitude of Rongbuk monastery is 5150meters, Monastery guesthouse,
We will leave early as possible to Everest because we will be on the time to arrive at top of the Gawu- la pass for sunrise on Mt.Everest and the rest of other Himalaya peaks above 8000 meters, like Mt.Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, Mt.Cho- Oyu, Mt. Shishapangma, on this top of mountain pass you can see the best and the marvelous amazing panorama views of Himalaya mountains in Tibet side, then continue drive descend along the long ZigZag valley to the Schedule Bus station of Eco bus station place, in here we take the electric bus to Rongbuk monastery, you can get closer and closer to the Mt.Everest, more and more beautiful and Goddess mother of mountains wishing you welcome to see her,
At Rongbuk Monastery, you will see the sunset and sunrise golden view of Mt.Everest,

Day 08. Drive from Rongbuk Monastery to Saga,450 km approx 8 to 9 hours, Altitude of Saga is 4500meters, Norling Tibetan family hotel. Today pack lunch and Picnic near the Peiku-Tso lake area,
In the morning, we can enjoy the sunrise view of Mt.Everest at the lodging area if the weather has permitted, then we head drive to Old Tingri, have a shopping for drinks, snacks, and Lunch, continues drive to Saga, you can view of the Mt.Shishapangma (8012m)with other snow mountains and Turquoise lake Peiku- Tso 4570m, Have lunch and picnic, if you are lucky then see the wild animals like a wild donkey(wild Ass), Antelope, etc, then to saga town,

Day 09. Drive from Saga to Darchen,450km approx 9 to 10 hours, Altitude of Darchen is 4600 meters, Hotel
On the way driving to Darchen, you will see the vast pasture land where Nomads are living, and the stunning view of the Gangdise Range and Himalaya Range, as we cross the Mayom-la pass (5120m), you can enjoy seeing the massively amazing view of the Mount.Namonanyi(Indian called Mount. Gurushangkar)and Holy lake Manasarovar, Then we finally arrive at the southern foot of Mt.Kailash.Darchen Village, prepare for next three days kora to Kailash,

Day 10. First day Kailash Kora from Darchen to Drirapuk gonpa, North face of Kailash, Guesthouse
The 13km walking,7km driving to Thapochi, Altitude of Driraphuk gonpa is 4990m,
In the morning, we are supposed to take an eco- bus to Thapochi / Sarshung from Darchen. Then we will meet at yaks and porters at Sarshung. After that, we can be gain the trek to Driraphuk gonpa from Sarshung along the Lachu valley and river, you can enjoy both west and north face of Mt.Kailash,

Day 11. Second day Kailash kora from Driraphuk to Dzultrulphuk gonpa,22km approx 10 to 11 hours walking, Guesthouse. The altitude of Dzulthrulphuk is 4780m.
Today, we will trek over Dolma- la pass 5650m. The highest pass of the kora, on the way you can have a rest in a tea house, All the way you can see locals Tibetan pilgrimage and prostrate in the kora path and the holy and beautiful color lake of Kadoe after we walk descend on the Dolma- La pass,

Day 12. Third day Kailash kora from Dzultrulphuk to Darchen,8km approx 3 to 4 hours walking to Zongto, In there 3km we can take the bus to Darchen. we will end the Kailash kora or trek, Have lunch in Darchen and continue a short drive to Chiwu gonpa / lake Manasarovar,(Guesthouse)altitude of Chiwu gonpa/Lake Manasarovar is 4560m, free time afternoon to explore lake and visit to Chiwu gonpa,
Optional: bath hot spring
Day 13. Drive from Chiwu gonpa/ lake Manasarovar to Saga, the same road back to saga, Same hotel

Day 14. Drive from Saga to Kyirong core town,180km approx 3 to 4 hours, Altitude of Kyirong core town is 2180 m, Hotel
Today we can drive to Kyirong core town, on the way again you can see the Himalaya snow mountains and the last pass in the tour, Gongthang- la pass 5236m,
after that, you will go down and down along the Kyirong valley to Kyirong core town,

Day 15. Drive from Kyirong core to Rasuw border, Sino – Nepal border,25km, one and half hour driving down to Rasuw, our guide will assist you to exit Chinese custom,
